Job Description: -

Security Clearance: -

  • TOP SECRET

Education/ Certification Mandatory: -

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience

Work Experience Mandatory: -

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in operations, emergency management, cyber-program analysis, or a related field

Education/Certifications Nice to Have: -

  • Experience in joint, interagency, or rapid-response environments
  • Knowledge of DoD Directive 3025.18, the Stafford Act, NIMS, and CARRLL
  • Proficiency with ETMS2 and Microsoft Office
  • DSCA Phase I and Phase II training
  • CISSP, CISM, or Security+ may be relevant for cyber-focused assignments

Roles And Responsibilities: -

  • Monitor domestic incidents, missions, requests for assistance, and operational developments.
  • Maintain situational awareness of National Guard activities across the states, territories, and District of Columbia.
  • Monitor operational systems, reports, communications, and mission-status information.
  • Identify discrepancies, information gaps, risks, and unresolved operational issues.
  • Develop common operating picture products and operational updates.
  • Prepare situation reports, executive summaries, briefings, and decision-support products.
  • Support validation and analysis of DSCA mission requests.
  • Apply the CARRLL criteria, Cost, Appropriateness, Risk, Readiness, Legality, and Lethality.
  • Coordinate with DoD, FEMA, DHS, federal agencies, state emergency-management organizations, and National Guard stakeholders.
  • Support incident-response, emergency-management, and rapid-response operations.
  • Maintain logs, trackers, mission records, and shift-transition information.
  • Provide accurate turnover briefings between shifts.
  • Escalate significant developments to Government leadership.
  • Analyze strategic and operational documents.
  • Support continuity, crisis-action, and emergency-response activities.
  • Work independently and respond effectively under pressure.
