The Design & Delivery team is part of Marcom Worldwide Interactive. They create, support, extend, and amplify worldwide content, campaigns, and platforms. This includes the shopping and buying experiences of Apple products, software, and services - places like Apple.com, Apple Store app, Apple Store Online, channel retailers, seasonal moments, and new product initiatives. They partner with teams across the company to design, scale, and deliver outstanding digital engagement and commerce experiences that bring the magic of Apple to every interactive touchpoint across the customer experience.
Description
The Sr. Designer on the Interactive Design & Delivery team plays a central role in shaping thoughtful, human-centered customer experiences across channel partner websites, direct marketing, and digital initiatives - both online and in-channel stores. This role blends visual design execution and craft with user experience (UX) thinking, bridging content strategy and design execution to create experiences that are intuitive, elegant, and on-brand for Apple and key partners.
They will collaborate closely with designers, writers, art directors, creative directors, and cross-functional technical partners, bringing a strong customer journey and experience perspective to every stage of the design process - from early concept exploration through final visual layout and delivery. They will work integrally with their visual design and copywriting peers across the Design & Delivery team based in Austin, Texas.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience specializing in visual design for the web, mobile and/or iOS app design.
Professional experience in a marketing, e-commerce or a digital product environment.
An online portfolio of original work demonstrating user-centered design and a strong visual aesthetic.
High proficiency in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of web and app development principles, including HTML, CSS, and iOS technologies.
Deep understanding of applying a brand voice, aesthetic, and tone.
Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe with experience in organizing files for design iteration, setting up files for web and app production, and adhering to graphic design standards. AI-powered workflows a plus.
Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace, delivering high-quality design quickly.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both creative and technical audiences.
The ability to utilize campaign identities or style guides to scale across interactive touch-points, as well as to generate novel concepts and extensions based on them.
