We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Homeownership Lending team. In this position, you will help drive informed business decisions by creating dashboards, lender scorecards, and operational reports that support IHFA’s strategic objectives. Unlike traditional analyst roles that report to IT, this position is embedded directly within the Homeownership Lending division, ensuring close collaboration with frontline operations and leadership to drive performance and program success.


This is a full-time, on-site position located at IHFA's headquarters in Boise, Idaho. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role. 


In This Role, You Will:

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track performance trends and key lending metrics
  • Develop and distribute lender scorecards to evaluate partner performance and support engagement strategies
  • Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports related to loan production, pipeline management, servicing metrics, and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Lending, Finance, Servicing, and Compliance teams to identify reporting needs and improve business processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies in reporting or source data
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights to support business planning, funding allocation, and performance reviews
  • Other job duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and interactive visualization
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) and familiarity with SQL or relational databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
