Job Title: Accountant I
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Employment Type: Contract

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring an Accountant I for a Florida state government client. The Accountant I vouches deposits and disbursements for state, federal, and student financial aid and loan programs, performs fund reconciliations, and supports compliance review activity.
Work Environment: Professional business office environment
Dress Code: Business casual
- Vouch deposits and disbursements of state, federal, and student financial aid and loan programs.
- Work inter-dependently as part of the office team.
- Perform weekly and monthly fund reconciliations.
- Prepare and update the office procedures and training manuals.
- Conduct compliance reviews of nonpublic post-secondary institutions.
- Apply knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Access.
Requirements
Experience and Skills Needed
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or a community college accounting certificate, and three years of experience working for the State of Florida with familiarity working in FLAIR or FLPALM. Required.
- Professional business experience.
- Basic accounting experience.
- Experience working with FLAIR or FLPALM. Required.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to speak and understand English. Required.
- At least a Bachelor of Science in Accounting or a community college accounting certificate. Required.
