Audio/Video installation technician, Programming specialist
Pay 23.00 - $25. an hour to start, increase basd on years of experience & probation period
Job type-Full-time
Schedule 40hr/per week
Holidays off New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,
Christmas Day. Other Holidays at Admins descretion.

Pyramid Sound & Light assists in providing homeowners with premium experience in the installation and calibration of audio/visual and networking equipment in residential and commercial spaces. We perform custom installation jobs requiring carefully and precisely running wires through walls in homes or businesses to bridge audio, video, and networking components together. We install and maintain low voltages systems ranging from basic structured cabling jobs, up to full blown access control, alarm, IP camera deployments,
Lighting, Shade, and Audio/Video Installations. At Pyramid Sound & Light, we create work environments where every employee feels like they are part of our family and contribute to our shared purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to their needs.
  • Provides clients with premium in-home experience during delivery, including set up, tutorial on products, troubleshooting, and installation of premium audio/video equipment.
  • Effectively calibrates high end premium audio/video equipment that can be in multiple zones in a home or business.
  • Maintains equipment and van.

Basic Qualifications

  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Clean Criminal Background
  • Clean Driving Record and maintain a driving record which meets Pyramid Sounds &

Lightโ€™s safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)

  • Must be at least 25 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week, from 8-5 with hour lunch, M-F.
  • Ability and willingness to crawl in tight spaces. (Attics, subfloor crawl spaces, ect.)
  • Ability to consistently lift and carry products weighing 75 pounds individually or 150 pounds as a team, with or without accommodation.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Strong customer and team communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools (Screw drivers, Drills, ect.)

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an in-home installation environment
  • Previous experience installing low voltage wiring for audio video, lighting and shade installations.
  • Previous experience with Elan, Control 4, Lutron programming, if possible
  • At least 1 year low voltage or equivalent experience. (Construction, Electrical, ect.)
  • At least 1 year structured cabling experience. (Installing J-hooks, beam clamps, ect.)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
