Job description

Primoris Pipeline & Engineering is currently seeking a Piping Designer. This role will receive direction from senior-level designers and/or engineers and works to complete assigned work on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes, client standards and guidelines. A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with piping design in the midstream oil & gas field is desired.

JOB DUTIES

Prepare detailed piping plans and drawings according to design or markups.

  • Review completed designs for accuracy.
  • Participate in inter-discipline and cross-discipline checks.
  • Perform 3D piping layouts and equipment modeling.
  • Prepare documents and drawings using AutoCAD, CADWorx, or other design programs.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

5-8 years of related design experience.

  • Basic knowledge of materials
  • Working knowledge of codes and standards, reference documents and guides
  • Very Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx Plant, ISOGEN, CADWorx P&ID and Microsoft Office products
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
