Life Stance Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will undertake a variety of responsibilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges, identifying unique needs and forming tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans that incorporate client goals, strategic interventions, and methods for progress evaluation.
• Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals and families navigating crises related to mental health, relationships, or socio-economic issues.
• Engage clients in collaborative discussions to establish personalized service plans, proactively connecting them with appropriate community resources.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, performing risk assessments and creating safety plans to address immediate client needs.
• Forge partnerships with local agencies, organizations, and service providers to coalesce resources and advocate effectively for client support.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives designed to educate and raise awareness of mental health services, thereby enhancing agency visibility and partnership opportunities.
• Contribute to team meetings, case consultations, and professional development trainings, supporting a culture of learning and growth within the organization.

Your work will primarily serve individuals and families who may be struggling with mental health disorders, substance abuse, or socio-economic hardships. Life Stance Therapy Center is dedicated to addressing populations impacted by homelessness, domestic violence, and poverty, among other critical issues, emphasizing empowerment and resilience. By employing trauma-informed approaches, you will facilitate healing and promote well-being in our clients’ lives.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of social justice issues, trauma-informed care methodologies, and community resource mapping.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations, showcasing cultural competence and empathetic engagement.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for client tracking, documentation, and assessments through electronic health record (EHR) systems.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will stand out:

• Prior experience working in a social service agency, particularly in a counseling or case management role.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in social work, mental health counseling, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Experience engaging in community development or outreach programs aimed at increasing awareness and access to mental health resources.
