Job description

Make a meaningful difference for families during one of the most important times in their lives. As a NICU Volunteer, you'll help create a warm, welcoming environment for parents, visitors, and staff while supporting the day-to-day needs of the unit.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist families and visitors in the NICU waiting area with kindness and compassion.
  • Help guide visitors and facilitate entry into the unit according to hospital protocols.
  • Provide valuable support to NICU staff through light administrative tasks, including filing and organizing materials.
  • Keep the family kitchen area clean, stocked, and welcoming by replenishing supplies and checking the refrigerator as needed.
  • Assist with folding baby blankets, crib sheets, and other linens to help keep the unit running smoothly.
  • Contribute to a comfortable and supportive environment for NICU families during their hospital journey.
