Job Description:
Join a team dedicated to building quality and reliability into advanced products from the ground up. In this role, you will support critical quality management processes, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams, and help ensure systems, documentation, and production activities meet the highest standards. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and mission-ready performance.
What you'll do:
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily execution of QMS processes and activities.
  • Assist with maintaining procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
  • Help track and follow up on audit findings, corrective actions, and process updates.

New Product and Production Support
  • Assist engineers in ensuring new products and processes meet QMS requirements.
  • Support documentation and readiness activities prior to production or manufacturing reviews.
  • Participate in inspections and verification activities as needed.

Documentation and Systems
  • Maintain document control processes, including updates, revisions, and archival of records.
  • Enter and manage data within quality systems, ERP systems, or tracking tools.
  • Help ensure accuracy and completeness of quality documentation and training records.

Audit and Compliance Support
  • Support preparation activities for internal and external audits.
  • Compile documentation and objective evidence for audit reviews.
  • Participate in internal audits under guidance from certified auditors.

Continuous Improvement
  • Assist with root cause investigations using structured problem-solving tools.
  • Support implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Help monitor key quality metrics and report trends to engineering or management.

Training and Cross Functional Coordination
  • Support coordination of QMS related training and maintain training records.
  • Work with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to communicate quality requirements.

Required qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or technical support role, preferably in aerospace or a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with basic root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys or Fishbone.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow established procedures.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience with document control systems, ERP systems, or quality data tracking tools preferred.
  • Certification or training in quality (e.g., Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt)

$28 - $42 an hour
