About Us

Airvoyant is building AI-powered aviation software that transforms aircraft maintenance, supply chain operations, and fleet management. We leverage cloud-native technologies, AI, and intelligent automation to help airlines, MROs, and aviation suppliers improve operational efficiency and decision-making.


We are seeking a Lead Architect to define and drive the technical architecture of our AI-first platform. This role will lead the design of scalable cloud-native applications, Agentic AI solutions, enterprise integrations, and data platforms that power mission-critical aviation workflows.

The ideal candidate combines deep architecture expertise with hands-on experience building AI-enabled systems on AWS.


Responsibilities

  • Define and own the architecture strategy for Airvoyant's AI-powered platform.
  • Design scalable solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and intelligent automation.
  • Lead architecture for cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Establish architectural standards, governance, security, and best practices.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive technology selection, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across the organization.
  • Design integrations with aviation, MRO, ERP, and supply chain systems.?
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
  • 5+ years architecting cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • AI/LLM-based solutions
  • Agentic AI and RAG architectures
  • Microservices and distributed systems
  • API-first and event-driven architectures
  • Enterprise integration patterns
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience designing highly scalable, secure, and resilient SaaS platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.?

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience architecting data-intensive solutions leveraging Amazon RedShift and Amazon S3 Data lakes for analytics, AI/ML, and operational intelligence.
  • Experience with vector databases and AI orchestration platforms.
  • Aviation, MRO, airline operations, or supply chain domain experience.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification.

Location: Miami preferred (or Dallas considered)
