Role Summary & Job Description

The Senior Manager - AI Solutions Architecture will lead the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise AI and intelligent automation solutions across IT and business operations within a regulated Life Sciences environment. The role is responsible for driving automation-led transformation, ensuring GxP-compliant AI adoption, and delivering scalable, secure, and audit-ready solutions aligned with enterprise governance frameworks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end AI and intelligent automation solution architecture, including GenAI, virtual agents, and workflow automation
  • Drive automation strategy and roadmap to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
  • Design and implement AI-driven and rule-based automation across service operations (requests, incidents, knowledge management)
  • Enable event-driven and autonomous operations through orchestration and closed-loop remediation
  • Ensure all solutions are aligned with Life Sciences regulatory requirements including GxP, SOX, and data governance standards
  • Lead architecture design reviews and approvals through Architecture Review Board (ARB) and other governance forums
  • Drive pre-implementation assessments including GxP impact, security, and compliance validation
  • Architect secure, scalable, and compliant AI and automation platforms with built-in auditability and traceability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into automation-first, compliant solution designs
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams across AI, automation, engineering, platform, and QA
  • Establish and enforce AI and automation governance frameworks including RBAC, audit controls, compliance, and risk management
  • Drive continuous improvement through measurable outcomes (automation %, MTTR reduction, productivity gains)

  • GenAI solutions (LLMs, copilots, RAG-based systems)
  • Intelligent automation (workflow orchestration, runbooks, closed-loop remediation)

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12–18+ years of experience with strong focus on AI, automation, and enterprise architecture
  • Proven experience in Life Sciences domain with exposure to regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of GxP compliance, validation processes, and regulated system requirements
  • Experience in governance processes including ARB, security reviews, and compliance approvals
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise automation solutions at scale
  • Strong expertise in intelligent automation tooling, orchestration platforms, and workflow engines
  • Experience with GenAI, LLM-based architectures, and AI-driven workflows
  • Deep knowledge of ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred) and enterprise integrations
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, APIs, and microservices-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience leading global cross-functional teams and large transformation programs
