Summary:
In this role, the AI & Decision Intelligence Director establishes and scales AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation capabilities within Revenue Intelligence. The role identifies high-impact business opportunities, develops and deploys practical AI-driven solutions, and delivers capabilities that improve commercial decision-making, forecasting, customer intelligence, and organizational productivity.
Serving as the strategic leader and hands-on builder for AI and decision intelligence, this role translates business challenges into scalable solutions and partners with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Analytics, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value.
Responsibility:
Lead AI & Automation Innovation
  • Develop and execute the Revenue Intelligence AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation roadmap.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases across commercial functions.
  • Translate business challenges into scalable AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and automation solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on emerging AI technologies and their practical business applications.

Build AI-Powered Intelligence Solutions
  • Design, develop, deploy, and monitor machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI-powered solutions in production environments.
  • Create forecasting, propensity, recommendation, customer intelligence, and decision-support models that improve commercial decision-making.
  • Build agentic AI and large language model (LLM)-powered applications and workflows that enhance productivity and insight generation.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to uncover opportunities and improve commercial outcomes.

Drive Intelligent Automation
  • Design and implement automation solutions that streamline insight generation, reporting, and decision-support processes.
  • Improve efficiency and productivity through scalable automation capabilities and repeatable delivery frameworks.

Deliver Business Impact
  • Establish AI, machine learning, and automation best practices and scalable delivery frameworks within Revenue Intelligence.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align solutions with strategic business priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Measure adoption, performance, and value realization of AI and automation initiatives.
  • Manage external vendors and contractor resources supporting delivery efforts.

Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience required.
  • Experience in AI, machine learning, data science, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation preferred.
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning or AI solutions in production environments.
  • Experience building solutions using large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, propensity modeling, recommendation models, customer intelligence, or decision-support capabilities.
  • Experience designing and implementing intelligent automation solutions that drive measurable business value.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills, including experience with Python, SQL, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and manage external vendors or consulting partners.
  • Experience working within large B2B organizations.
  • Experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and Power Platform.
  • Experience building customer intelligence, recommendation, or decision intelligence platforms.
  • Experience working with commercial analytics, revenue intelligence, or go-to-market organizations.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
