Job description

Residency All applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application. Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Analytic Methodologist to support the development of analytic strategies to resolve key intelligence questions of mission-driven requirements. This position will be based out of Washington, D.C. or the greater National Capital Region (NCR). This is an opportunity to get in on the "ground level" of a new and exciting program with a critical Department of War (DoW) customer. Having an active TS/SCI w/Poly is highly desired. What you will do * Works with ambiguous information, deconstructs key questions, suggests methodologies, develops data schema to structured observations, and supports visualization of applicable data. * Identifies and evaluates a wide range of existing methods, models, and algorithms to develop more accurate, complete, objective, and anticipatory analysis for intelligence production. Identifies, retrieves, manipulates, relates, and / or exploits structured data sets from all available sources. * Uses scripts, visual analytic modeling tools, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repeatable, widely applicable procedures. * Combines empirical or quantitative methods with data analysis for intelligence production of complex and data-driven assessments. * Evaluates the capabilities and limitations of analytic methodologies. What you need to have * Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly (or have the ability to obtain) * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in intelligence analysis or another related field * Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting analysis using data engineering, with at least a portion of experience within the last 2 years What we'd like you to have * Current CI poly * Master's degree from an accredited institution in intelligence analysis or another related field (an additional 5 years of experience may be substituted for this requirement) * At least 12 years of experience conducting intelligence analysis, production, or analytic methodology Pay transparency Please note the targeted compensation range is provided as an estimate, and any actual compensation offer may vary depending on the needs of the company, or an applicant's skillset, competencies, experience, education, certifications, location, or other factors.
