Job description

Overview

As theย Seniorย Principleย Acquisition Analystย working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you willย support government platform (broken down to ship class and hull) and combat system (broken down to component/assembly) Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) delivery statuses, issues, risks, and other program acquisition management functions to the government customer in PEO SHIPS Government Equipment Management (GEM).ย 

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Provide shipbuilding support to Ships GEM shipyard liaison at the GFE reviews for each shipbuilderย 
  • Provide continuity in technical support to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place for GFE delivery to the respective shipyardsย 
  • Provide contract management support, including entering Procurement Requests (PRs) into the Standard Procurement System (SPS), as well as interfacing/coordinating with the contracting officer and Ships GEM through the contract award processย 
  • Provide Risk Managementย expertiseย with analyzing risks associated with technical, cost, and schedule impacts with the development and production of Combat and HM&E systemsย 
  • Conduct monthly stoplight risk assessments for each PARMย 
  • Develop risk charts to track the risk and provide quarterly metrics including trend analysisย 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 7 years professional experience in DoD/Navy programย management, Governmentย technical management, or Industry business management
  • DoD Secret level clearance

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, English, history, computer science, economics, mathematics, communications, accounting, education, or science discipline
  • 12+ years of professional experience in DoD/Navy program management,ย  Government technical management, or Industry business managementย 

Salary range (subject to experience and qualifications) - $115,000 - $130,000
