Job description

Position: Material Cost Book Coordinator
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA
Type: Long-term Contract

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Manufacturing & Costing

  • 10+ years total experience

Industry: Automotive (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Passenger Car OEMs)

Key Skills:
Project Management, Costing, BOM, TPC, Casting, Stamping, Injection Molding, Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Material Cost Book for multiple automotive programs

  • Maintain BOM accuracy aligned with engineering data

  • Track and present Total Product Cost (TPC) and monthly cost changes

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Cost teams

  • Support should-cost and cost reduction initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering

  • Automotive production and costing experience

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment
