The Role and Impact
As an Industry Technical Sales Specialist, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address customer challenges and drive adoption of Intel products. In this role, you will develop advanced solutions, advocate for Intel-based technology, and build strategic technical relationships with customers and industry partners. Your contributions will help shape industry offerings, unlock growth opportunities, and support Intel's leadership in enabling innovative technologies.

You will be part of Intel's Enterprise Solutions Sales team, which focuses on delivering advanced technical solutions to customers across various verticals. This team plays a critical role in driving adoption of Intel technologies by collaborating with customers, partners, and industry leaders to address business challenges and advance technical innovation. Through strategic engagement, the group supports Intel's broader mission of enabling data-driven insights and empowering industries to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Influences and advocates technical abilities of Intel based products and solutions for Intel's BUs through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to business and information technology (IT).
  • Manage end-customer technical relationships and provide technical expertise to support Intel product purchases.
  • Develop technically advanced solutions that create pull for Intel products and address customer business needs.
  • Exhibits solid understanding of key technology trends, industry segments and Intel's product lines to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve customer business problems, while creating significant pull for Intel's products and solutions.
  • Partner with customers, OEM's, ISVs, SIs, and Intel's business unit teams to optimize solutions, software, and services across the solution stack.
  • Gather customer feedback to identify satisfaction drivers and strategic opportunities for improvement.
  • Conveys deep technical requirements from partners and customers as a strategic input to product development roadmap.
  • Deliver presentations and keynotes at Intel, industry, and customer forums to position Intel as a thought leader.

As a successful candidate, you must possess:
  • Customer Success and Outcome Driven: Work with Account Executive to create solutions that can move the needle to positively impact the customer's desired outcomes.
  • Voice of the Customer: Be the vocal advocate for Oil and Gas and FSI specific requirements back into Intel's product teams.
  • Business Acumen/Industry Knowledge: Understand the customers business (priorities, pressures, competition, growth strategy, business imperatives) and how Intel technologies apply to Oil and Gas, FSI, Retail, Transportation and Manufacturing.
  • Exceptional Communication and Influence: Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, compelling terms. Executive presence and credibility to engage effectively with senior technical leaders and C-level stakeholders, as well as to collaborate closely with internal teams and industry partners. A talent for building rapport at all levels and inspiring confidence as a solutions-focused advisor
  • Willingness to work with Account Executive to navigate complex sales cycles and manage large, strategic, and complex opportunities with and through the partner ecosystem.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with end user customers
  • Self-Driven and Adaptable: Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying current on emerging industry trends and technologies. Ability to juggle multiple customer engagements and sales opportunities simultaneously, and are comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in system architecture, performance engineering, or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Must reside within 25 miles of Dallas, TX.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT needs including Edge, Data Center, Storage, Networking, Artificial Intelligence, public cloud, client device deployment etc.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and articulating technical differentiation.
  • Ability to travel around 20% or more as business needs arise.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Oil and Gas and FSI workloads and solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Intel's architectures for enterprise clients and data center infrastructure, plus familiarity with complementary ecosystem solutions (hardware, software, and services) used in modern IT environments. Working knowledge of leading public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and insight into hybrid cloud and enterprise-to-cloud migration best practices.
  • Experience with AI/ML, Agentic-AI, cloud-native workloads, or edge computing solutions.
  • Experience calling on Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas (TOLA) based Enterprise accounts
  • Experience with programming and application development/optimization
  • Knowledge of AMD and NVIDIA architectures, including ROCm and CUDA ecosystems.
  • Understanding of business relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers, (OEM) and/or Original Device Manufacturers (ODM) partners and the ecosystem who service customers in this segment.
