Position Overview:
The Jeep Market Manager is a dynamic and strategic professional responsible for helping shape the strategy for Jeep primarily focused on markets outside the United States and Canada. This individual will be the Single Point of Contact for the markets responsible, leveraging internal and external intel on data trends and key insights working cross-functionally. This person will support product and brand launches along with go to market tactics and programs internationally. This role requires a motivated self-starter with experience within the automotive industry and ability to work with simple and complex data sets to help minimize the time, energy, administration of markets and individuals around the world.
Key Market Management Responsibilities:
  • Main Contacts for the Regions and leader for Weekly/Monthly Regional Review
  • Regional performance responsibility
  • Target and Forecast alignment
  • Segment analysis and opportunity prospecting: Partner with the business units/regions/countries on strategic projects (e.g., expansion/growth opportunities and processes)
  • Regional Car Flow management
  • Marketing / Auto Show Support
  • Launch readiness and execution support
  • Customer Experience (Regional Support)
  • Cross-functional and Relationship management: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners, founded on trust and transparency ensuring strong regionalization while increasing cooperation Jeep brand and the represented markets
  • Market Analysis: Combine internal and external intel on data trends and competitive actions articulating relevant opportunities for the Brand and to the markets to drive positive sales, market share and profitable results
  • Sharing recommendations with senior leadership to drive performance improvements
  • Providing expertise in cross-platform solutions for comprehensive use cases

Key Product Integration Responsibilities:
  • Regional Product requests to assist in Product Planning Review and any opportunities leveraging competitive insights, trends and data analysis
  • Market expert on needs including testing, regulations & homologation
  • Key Product Governance - International / Mexico Product Actions
  • Product Content Strategy (Regional regulations & policies)
    • Manage responsible markets trim walks and product content / regulations
    • Manage responsible export markets that receive US sourced vehicles
    • Follow International-configurations for responsible market
  • Product Requests (International requests) for Responsible Markets
  • Present regional requests
  • Create product grids to support international requests
  • Identify market definition / need / high-level business cases
  • Provide all commercial inputs / business case
  • Provide regional volume inputs for North America-based buzz models
  • Lifecycle Planning (for Responsible Markets)
    • Model year actions, regulatory requirements
    • Buzz model plans
    • Feature / content needs
    • Support International Sync Plan
    • Product Research (International)
    • Bi-weekly touchpoints with Jeep Planning to share updates

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Brand, Sales & Marketing, Product or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within an automotive environment or 5+ years of marketing, product planning, or product strategy within any environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Outstanding track record of profitably developing and executing data driven strategies and analytics
  • The ability to formulate strategies and brand value propositions leveraging data sets that connect with the overall strategy of the business
  • Background which includes hands-on accomplishments in delivering results
  • Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple projects and determine project urgency
  • Familiarity in working within global environments with successful track record in working cross-culturally
  • Experience working in a flat organizational with lean resources thereby requiring strong cross functional collaboration skills
  • Deep passion for the automotive industry
