1099 Field Nurse

Join our team at Delta Homecare - Georgia, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a 1099 Field Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Role Summary:

As a 1099 Field Nurse, you will be responsible for providing in-home care to patients in the Newnan, GA area. Your duties will include skilled visits, administrative tasks, and assessments. You will work independently, utilizing your exceptional nursing skills to provide personalized care to each patient. You will also be responsible for supervising caregivers, assessing patient care, and communicating with office staff and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled visits, including Intel's visiting and providing nursing care to patients at home, community, and resident settings

  • Provide compassionate, personalized nursing care services to patients

  • Assist and support patients in organizing their physical activities

  • Conduct and facilitate diagnostic procedures and other lab tests as permitted for patients

  • Supervise caregivers and perform nurse supervisory visits as needed

  • Liaison between office, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals

  • Conduct assessments, admissions, and insurance assessments

  • Create Careplans and perform nursing assessments as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Georgia State Board of Nursing

  • At least two years of general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, or critical care experience

  • Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health

  • Has presented a pre-employment physician's health clearance, including a negative TB skin test, current First Aid & CPR certification, and other tests as required by the Company's policy

  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Company requirements and is in good working order

  • Has excellent references from previous/current employers and/or professional peers

  • Has abilities to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Work Environment:

  • Work independently in patients' homes, communities, and resident settings

  • Must be able to travel to patient homes and other healthcare facilities as needed

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
