Advanced Workzone Services: Traffic Control Tech./ Road Construction Labor
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
The candidate will be doing any of the following (new hire will receive on the job training) : Setting and maintaining traffic control devices, set forms, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts and pour concrete for sign foundations, erect pipe and angle iron frameworks by bolting, welding or other means prior to installation of directional and informational signs that are normally prefabricated. Must work from plans in locating and drilling holes or hoist signs into place, fasten signs to the framework by bolting or other means, other work associated with signing projects (i.e.: delineators, striping, striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, detours, etc.), place traffic control devices on or adjacent to job site; maintain devices in the proper location and operating condition; service and repair equipment and devices.
Employees will need to be able to show up on time, have reasonable transportation to and from work. Work outside during the heat. Will need to be able to pick up at least 100 lbs. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and must possess a valid driver's license. A C.D.L. license could benefit hourly wage. Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is recommended but not required. Traffic control technician or Traffic control Supervisor training is recommended but not required and can be provided during employment.
