Job description

Edwards Plumbing & Heating – Hiring Experienced Plumbers for our service department and our commercial department.
Hiring in all of Southeastern Michigan and Greater Lansing: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, St. Clair, Washtenaw, Livingston, Genesee, Lenawee, Monroe, Lapeer Counties and Greater Lansing area.
Responsibilities and Duties
The ideal candidate will uphold our core values—honesty, professionalism, and integrity—on every job, whether in a customer’s home or on a commercial project. Candidates must be able to listen to customers or project managers, provide quality solutions, and perform plumbing work with exceptional craftsmanship. This includes diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential plumbing systems, as well as completing commercial and new-construction tasks such as rough-ins, undergrounds, top-outs, fixture installations, and gas, water, waste, and vent piping. Our plumbers should be well-versed in all stages of plumbing, from faucet repairs, drain cleaning, sewer replacements, leak detection, toilets, disposals, water heaters, and recirculation pumps, to larger commercial installations and remodel projects.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience in residential service, commercial work, or new construction, with the ability to clearly write up and present repair or installation options when needed. Applicants must be professional, reliable, and customer-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, along with a positive attitude and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
