Job description

We're looking for a licensed Home Inspector to help clients make confident, informed decisions about one of life's biggest investments. In this role, you'll perform thorough residential home inspections, identify and clearly document defects and safety concerns, and provide detailed inspection reports while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the process.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and an excellent communicator who enjoys working independently while building trust with clients and real estate professionals. Compensation:

$50,000 - $80,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Articulate inspection findings in a manner the client and real estate agent understand
  • Have basic computer skills in order to create a home inspection report and distribute to client within 24 hours of home inspection
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Be punctual for appointments
  • Be dependable and have a reliable vehicle to travel to and from inspections
  • Willingness to learn and earn additional certifications for ancillary services
  • Abide by North Carolina standard of practice for home inspection

Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail is critical in the role for both inspections and for reporting purposes
  • Has no problem with heights or confined spaces; able to evaluate roofs, crawl spaces, and attics
  • 1+ year of previous work experience conducting home inspections or working in construction field
  • Strong multitasking skills and organizational skills
  • Able to travel by car and possess a current U.S. driver’s license
  • Well-acquainted with basic computer programs and email applications
  • Must hold a NC Home Inspection License. Will be asked to gain a SC license within 6 months of hire
