Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Lead Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support a new development program within an Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) environment. In this role, you will help ensure complex missile defense systems are correctly assembled, integrated, tested, and delivered-working hands-on with hardware, procedures, and multidisciplinary teams.
This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in high-impact environments, enjoys translating requirements into real-world execution, and is motivated by seeing advanced technology move from concept to operational reality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Execute integration and test activities within an Assembly, Integration, and Test environment to verify system performance and readiness
Create, develop, and maintain test procedures that support system integration and vehicle delivery
Support documentation control, configuration tracking, release processes, and government submittals
Coordinate daily integration and test activities across multiple internal and external disciplines
Obtain certification and perform duties as a Certified Test Conductor / Test Engineer, supporting system integration and verification efforts
Work Environment
Hands-on engineering environment supporting hardware integration and test operations
Work performed in laboratory, manufacturing, and test facilities
Fast-paced, mission-critical setting requiring collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams
Occasional presentations to senior leadership and government customers
Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities
