Job Summary:
The Program Support Analyst III provides senior-level management and analytical support to Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) leadership. The analyst plans and performs required research, design evaluation, technical development, system integration planning and other tasks in specific technical areas. This role requires a strong background in management analysis, strategic planning, data analytics, and policy development. The Analyst collaborates with senior leadership to translate data and analysis into actionable recommendations and decision-support materials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead analysis of directorate, division, and branch-level programs to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Develop, review, and refine internal policies, reports, and management briefings.
  • Collect and interpret complex datasets to uncover trends and insights supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance on management principles, program operations, and process optimization.
  • Design and deliver professional graphics, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate analytical results.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to standardize policies and procedures.
  • Review and validate analytical reports and policy content for accuracy and alignment with WHS objectives.
  • Provide decision support to senior management and contribute to long-term program planning.
  • Mentor junior analysts and review deliverables for quality assurance.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in program analysis, management consulting, or policy development supporting DoD or federal agencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Demonstrated expertise in management principles, program evaluation, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active, SECRET Security Clearance is required.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 USD - $162,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
