Job Description:
As the Program Director, the candidate will report directly to the EPMO division Director and will interact directly with the Project Sponsors, the candidate will be responsible for aligning people, process, and technology across the Program working closely with the Systems Integrator across all aspects of project delivery ensuring effective and just-in-time communication across all stakeholder groups in a manner that promotes a culture of collaboration. The candidate will oversee the daily Program activities working closely with Delivery Lead and the Data Conversion and Budget Lead, with responsibilities of upward of 100 resources on the project.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Work directly with the Systems Integrator to implement the strategic vision for the Legacy Replacement Program, focusing on clear business outcomes and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
Engage with the Legacy Replacement Project (LRP) Sponsor on all matters impacting the project including scope, budget, risk and resource management.
Work with the Systems Integrator as the primary Lead in the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of all program activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Interact with and provides direct instructions to EPMO staff supporting LRP to ensure alignment with all planning and execution activities in a manner that inspires and guides the team, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing environment where skill gaps within the team are addressed by promoting training and development opportunities.
Uphold critical paths to achieve program goals and interacts with the QA Vendor to ensure alignment with tasks and duration.
Resolve conflicts or challenges that arise throughout Program execution.
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and collecting feedback.
Collaborate with Programs Leads to develop and execute organizational change management strategies to support user adoption of new systems and processes as well as the operational transition.
โ€ข Bachelor or master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Project Management or a related field is preferred โ€ข PgMP Certified or Certified Project Manager โ€ข At least 5 years of prior experience with a large-scale legacy replacement project(s) involving multiple third-party vendors and large data conversion โ€ข At least 10 years of proven software implementation experience as a senior program or project management leader โ€ข Prior experience interfacing with executives including delivering presentations โ€ข Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage/engage key stakeholders and cross-functional teams โ€ข Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to different audience
