As a team, we know what it takes to move organizations forward with measurable, sustainable results.Our primary consideration when evaluating candidates is alignment with our Mission and Values.Job DescriptionAs a GovCloud Test Engineer, you will execute Configuration and Integration Testing (CIT) activities under the direction of the GovCloud Test Lead, providing the empirical evidence the prime contractor needs to demonstrate that assigned solution components, interfaces, and workflows satisfy applicable system requirements and are ready for Government testing. Rios Partners anticipates staffing multiple Test Engineers to cover assigned test scope, with staffing intensity surging during active site test and deployment windows. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on test execution experience and strong attention to detail. The Program is a federal telehealth modernization effort for which Rios Partners would serve as a subcontractor to the prime contractor, providing Program Management Office (PMO) support. This is a full-time position contingent upon anticipated contract award, supporting a program expected to run approximately 30 months (contingent on the prime contractor's award of the contract and exercise of option periods).The GovCloud Test Engineer will:Execute test scripts and test cases in support of technical, functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, user acceptance, operational readiness, deployment readiness, and performance/data performance testing, as directed.Provide empirical evidence that assigned solution components, integrations, interfaces, workflows, and configurations satisfy applicable system requirements.Conduct or support smoke testing and data performance testing of assigned platform components in accordance with the CMTP.Identify, document, classify, and track deficiencies, defects, and testing anomalies in the Test Data Repository or prime contractor-designated defect management system; conduct retesting and regression testing following fixes.Support Government tester and IV&V agent access during CIT, including over-the-shoulder observation of supported testing, as requested.Provide test cases, scripts, results, and supporting evidence and documentation through the applicable Test Data Repository.Provide daily and weekly testing status inputs, including planned/completed activities, requirements tested, and defects identified.Support Test Readiness Review (TRR) documentation and evidence delivery.Required Qualifications2–4 years of software/systems testing experience.Working knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect documentation practices.Familiarity with test management/defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, TestRail, or similar).Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Strong attention to detail and clear written documentation skills.Hands-on testing experience in a GovCloud, FedRAMP-authorized, or other Government-authorized cloud environment.Preferred QualificationsPrior Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), or comparable federal healthcare IT experience.Exposure to interoperability/interface testing (e.g., HL7, FHIR) in a health IT setting.ISTQB Foundation Level certification.Additional informationU.S. work authorization required.Security Requirements: Level 3 Public Trust clearance required prior to accessing GovCloud, GAL, or Government IT systems, data, or environments (must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in the US for the past three years consecutively).Must be willing to work on-site at Government Application Laboratories (GALs), the GovCloud environment, the Government IT environment, and/or other Government-approved test locations, as directed by the prime contractor.Application InstructionsApplicants should submit a tailored resume (no more than 2 pages) that clearly displays relevant professional experience and concisely communicates how past education and experience will allow them to be successful in this role.
