JOB PURPOSE:

The Wellness Coach organizes and implements comprehensive programs and activities to support Endeavors principles of Wellness for a first responder wellness program. This position will utilize Endeavor's wellness model which includes attention to the spiritual, economic, mind-body, knowledge, environmental, and connectedness needs of clients to coordinate and facilitate wellness services for the members of this Wellness Program and their family members. The goal of this position is to encourage clients to develop a habit of choosing wellness every day.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and oversee wellness programming consistent with the Endeavor's Wellness Model for clients.
  • Promotes wellness initiatives; answers question and collects feedback from participants.
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify cost-effective wellness programs and incentives.
  • In coordination with an integrated care team, assesses and analyzes the general physical and mental health needs of the client population.
  • Collaboration with external entities for support, events, opportunities, education, etc.
  • Designs, implements, and executes plans/programs such as meditation classes, support groups (men's, women's, parents), life skills classes, and other activities to support client needs.
  • Designs, plans, and implements classes, speakers, seminars, training, and voluntary assessments to promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Drafts and maintains accurate, confidential records and reports as required to track and assess client participation, program incentives, costs, and benefits to the company.
  • Provide yoga training, mindfulness training, theta or reiki training, and guide clients through utilization of the equipment in our wellness room.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Health Education, or related field required.

EXPERIENCE: Experience working with a first responder population is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate leadership capacity and ability to foster team-building and a supportive, flexible environment.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. Strong preferences for National Wellness Institute's Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) or similar certification.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
