Job description

Become part of the excitement.
As a Quality and Service Solutions Manager, you will define, develop, lead, and implement strategic plans that focus on removing customer supply chain inefficiencies through continuous improvement processes, innovation, and application of new and existing supply chain solutions. You will assist the sales organization in the identification, development, presentation and the coordination of projects related to these service solutions with customers.
In this role you will:
  • Educate, coach and support the sales team to understand the cost and value created by service solutions that drive profitable growth and achieve business results
  • Assist all departments in assessing service performance and business processes, developing projects and plans for improvement, and implementation of supply chain solutions
  • Participate in joint sales calls with key and strategic customers promoting the Company's service solutions support through the building lifecycle including building, maintaining and renovating
  • Work with leadership in various corporate departments and Information Technology (IT) to streamline and enhance new/existing service offerings to the field and customers
  • Attend meetings, presentations, conferences and trade shows to promote service solutions offerings
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of metrics and reporting to measure and monitor quality, cost, revenue, and effectiveness of service
  • Work with manufacturer's representatives and other third-party vendors to complete customer integrations; maintain knowledge of current and future service offerings within various market segments; use information to educate the branch sales and service personnel on potential (improvement, service and E-business) opportunities
  • Attend monthly District Steering Committee (DSC) meetings, and assist/participate in Branch Steering Committees with projects as required

What you bring to the table:
  • 3 years experience in Sales, Finance, Operations or Customer Service required; 4+ years experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience managing project teams, developing and maintaining project plans and schedules preferred
  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry
  • Knowledge of Sales and Marketing processes
  • Knowledge of operations and corresponding computer systems including SAP and Business Warehouse (BW)
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct oral presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Interpersonal skills as an influencer and team player
  • Strong service orientation
  • Excellent listening and consultative skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately and effectively gather, interpret, and report data
  • Abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with Company management and evaluate customer needs
  • Ability to exercise initiative, problem identification, problem-solving, and fact-based decision making
  • Ability to motivate team members and train and mentor others
  • Ability to promote and sell service solutions to key stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Work Shift and Hours:Monday - Friday, standard business hours
Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at $93,500 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
