Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and student-focused 7th/8th Grade Science Teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on learning, inquiry-based instruction, and helping students build strong scientific literacy and problem-solving skills. This teacher will deliver standards-aligned instruction in life, physical, and earth sciences while fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality science instruction aligned to Illinois Learning Standards for Science (NGSS).
  • Design engaging, inquiry-based lessons, labs, and projects that promote critical thinking and real-world application.

Qualifications
Required:
