Job Title: Master Scheduler
Job Family: Program Management

Job Summary:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and implementing schedules for our program and manufacturing needs; providing timely and accurate reports, dashboards, and visual aids to communicate project status; and reporting key milestones and metrics to management. Highly detail oriented and organized, operational excellence focused, with the ability to balance customer demand with production resources; able to collect, interpret, and verify accuracy of data, to work collaboratively across functional areas, and support a high-performance team are essential skills for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and development of schedules using standard work, standard sequence of planning process and overall calendar of events focused on deliverable results and customer satisfaction for highly complex projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain individual or integrated schedules by working with multidiscipline teams to create and maintain Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Evaluate/contrast alternative schedules and present to others.
  • Participate in risk analysis and reflect impacts and mitigations in schedules.
  • Support cost analysis by providing the time and duration of activities.
  • Perform/present critical and driving path analysis and products of your own and other schedules.
  • Perform trend analysis.
  • Develop the Integrated Master Plan.
  • Support an Integrated Baseline Review.
  • Develop the EVM Baseline.
  • Perform a Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
  • Perform a Schedule Health Assessment (SHA).
  • Create master production schedules to support customer and inventory turn goals.
  • Understand production capacity and create an environment in which the use of effective scheduling logic produces realistic master schedules that aligns with customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor/maintain accuracy and integrity of MPS input information (forecasts, order reconciliation).
  • Support Operations Excellence by identifying/implementing cost savings opportunities and process efficiencies.
  • Motivate and inspire team to support mission, act with integrity, work collaboratively, meet commitments, and achieve objectives.
  • Be the communication focal point for information (status, changes, issues) for the MPS.
  • Trigger formal reviews by performing organizations to evaluate all requested changes to MPS schedules (timing, quantity, and configuration) and ensure alignment of support plans and commitment of responses.
  • Analyze and action daily the internal and external open order reports to support orders, sales, and delivery goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or manufacturing related degree, such as Industrial Engineering, or Project Controls preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS), and Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Expert level working experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Working knowledge of workforce management and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ERP implementation experience

  • Travel: ~20%
  • Work Environment: Manufacturing sites, and office work environment
