2027 Internship - Marketing (Marketing Associate)

As an intern with Textron, you'll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You'll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways - working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Associate Intern works directly with Textron Aviation's marketing team and stakeholders to develop integrated marketing initiatives that will be distributed across multiple channels, in support of the ultimate marketing strategy. Candidate will learn how to focus marketing resources to address company initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead projects from concept through execution including, but not limited to:
  • Developing a plan
  • Setting timelines
  • Working directly with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns within the annual marketing plan.
  • Ensure both internal and customer-facing marketing materials adhere to company master brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Content & Digital, Brand, Trade Shows & Events, Communications, Technical Marketing, Sales, and supporting vendors
  • Assist in specific efforts to generate increased marketing leads for existing models, new product announcements or enhancements, and unsold inventory.
  • Actively engages in personal development.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration
  • Communications
  • Other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic understanding of Marketing principles
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong team player; especially in cross-functional teams
  • Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
