Job Description

The Universal Television Entertainment team is seeking a strategic, creative, and enthusiastic marketer to join our Integrated Marketing team.  The Associate Manager, Integrated Marketing role is responsible for contributing to the development, execution, and analysis of merchandising planning, with the role’s overall objective being to drive viewing and engagement across the Peacock platform. 

Reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, this role sits within the core Integrated Marketing team who (in totality) are responsible for day-to-day and long-term Merchandising Strategy/Planning, Product Marketing/Optimization, and Integrated Projects – all of which require the ability to develop comprehensive promotional plans, communicate effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining nimble in a frequently evolving environment. 

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, motivated to push the envelope, incredibly organized, passionate about Peacock’s content slate, and excited to shape the way Peacock’s content comes to life on and off platform for the millions of subscribers who stream our content on a daily basis.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

  • Support the development of merchandising strategy and planning for all platforms where programming that Integrated Marketing is responsible for appears 

  • Serve as a funnel of information, proactively ascertaining information for all owned titles, gathering all needed marketing elements, understanding the day-to-day production needs, show creative, and where Integrated Marketing fits within the larger campaign planning process  

  • Collaborate and ideate with key teams (Title Marketing, Programming, Publicity, Creative, Production, Operations, Sales, Decision Sciences, etc…) to help ensure owned titles launch on time and with success 
  • Synthesize performance data, cultural trends, and competitive intelligence into strategic recommendations that inform decision making 

  • Maintain project timelines, one-sheets, and other shared resources to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned and aware of where individual projects stand 

  • Contribute to larger title specific campaigns and represent Integrated Marketing in cross-functional meetings  

  • Develop decks and other presentations as needed to represent the work that the Integrated Marketing team is responsible for 

  • Contribute to driving marketing efforts across entertainment titles, including implementing strategy, managing campaigns, and gathering results – all with the goal of driving consumer engagement and viewership of content 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer, entertainment or media marketing 

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Platform Merchandising, Media or Promotional Planning, Strategy Development, Campaign Execution/Management 

  • Strong organizational, project management and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Strategic thinker and creative problem solver who is comfortable collaborating and navigating effectively within a matrixed, fast paced and ever-changing organization. 

  • Passion for entertainment, streaming and pop culture 

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Strong cultural intuition and affinity for Peacock’s diverse and dynamic content slate 

  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently and proactively keep leadership informed 

  • Confident, driven self-starter, with a dedication to excellence and maintaining a positive work environment 

  • Expertise in deck building (PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.) with flawless visual storytelling, strong attention to detail, and the ability to powerfully bring ideas to life 

  • Cross-functional thinker who can collaborate with internal teams across every phase of a campaign 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, master’s degree or MBA a plus.
