Job description

Position Summary
The client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Integration Engineer to support and enhance the Automated Investigative Management (AIM) System and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise integrations, real-time messaging systems, Java development, XML/web services, and system troubleshooting within high-volume transaction environments.
The engineer will work closely with ITS/Business Systems Engineering teams to design, develop, implement, maintain, and support scalable enterprise-level applications and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications and integrations
Support and enhance the AIM system and other applications
Troubleshoot critical system defects and production issues
Develop and maintain XML data exchanges and web services
Perform technical research and evaluate tools, technologies, and methodologies
Gather and document business and technical requirements
Support project planning, risk management, and issue tracking
Create test plans, test cases, and perform performance testing
Automate data sharing and integration processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams
Provide weekly project status reports
Assist with procurement support, proposal evaluations, and contract-related activities
Transfer technical knowledge to staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years of Enterprise Application Integration Engineering experience
Strong experience with enterprise-level IT projects
Experience with system analysis, troubleshooting, and software engineering methodologies
Experience integrating multiple enterprise applications/systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Experience creating test plans and conducting performance testing
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
