Job description

Overview
Reports to: Domain Manager, Integration Engineering
Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Leads in consulting, developing, and improving APIs and systems integrations with the Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP). Collaborates with multiple Product Development Teams providing guidance and design for integrations supporting products designed to achieve strategic business outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Takes initiative in leading feature and user story development, delegating responsibilities, and collaborating Product Development Team members
  2. Works with Product Development Teams to design, develop, test, document, and deploy solutions on the Enterprise Integration Platform
  3. Designs API layers, data models, and specifications
  4. Develops APIs utilizing the platform components of the Enterprise Integration Platform
  5. Test and improve performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability, and resource utilization
  6. Works closely with Product Development Team members to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of architecture, API standards, and governance of the Enterprise Integration Platform
  7. Participate in the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Integration Platform's delivery and operation
  8. May act as team mentor in a multi-person development team
  9. May oversee and verify the work of engineers or technicians
  10. Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably BSEE, BSCE, or BSCS or equivalent work experience.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent technical education and/or related work experience.
Experience/Skills: At least ten years of professional experience in a software development team is preferred. Working expertise with MuleSoft. Advance experience in designing public and private enterprise secure services using REST based APIs including SOAP based APIs. Extensive experience with SOA integration and API management technologies and standards. Detailed understanding of API lifecycles. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices and methodologies and with Software Development Lifecycle. Familiarity with operating systems, tools to test software applications/systems and with development/modeling tools. Passion and willingness to continue learning and utilizing up-and-coming technology trends. C#, .NET, Java, RDBMS development including T-SQL.
Tenure: Assignment to the Integration Engineer I (Category 10), Integration Engineer II (Category 09), Integration Engineer III (Category 08), or Senior Integration Engineer (Category 07) will be determined by the candidates' education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.
Compensation
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
Salary Pay Range: 07
$90,389 - $152,718 annually
