Specialist, Integrated Content Production Job Description

Summary

This role is the engine of execution, sitting at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and process. The Integrated Content Production team supports the planning, production, workflow operations, and performance tracking of integrated content campaigns and projects that drive awareness, engagement, and business results.

Working closely with Lead and Senior Producers, internal creators, and Creative and Marketing teams, the Specialist supports the day-to-day coordination of integrated content projects, helping maintain project plans, timelines, deliverables, approvals, and cross-functional workflows. The Specialist helps keep teams informed, identifies and escalates potential blockers, and ensures work stays on schedule, on purpose, and on brand.

The ideal candidate brings focus, curiosity, and strong organizational skills to a high-volume, fast-moving environment where priorities shift and no two weeks look alike. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional looking to build foundational project management and production skills within a creative and marketing environment, with opportunities to grow into production management, integrated marketing, marketing operations, or project management roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Support the planning and execution of multiple integrated content projects by building and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. Coordinate with cross-functional partners, track progress, follow up on action items, and elevate risks or blockers to Lead and Senior Producers.
  • Asset Management: Organize and tag creative files, track version histories, and maintain shared drives and content libraries that support transparency, accessibility, and collaboration across teams.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate project schedules, working sessions, reviews, approvals, and handoffs across teams. Maintain clear documentation of project status, decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines to support accountability and timely delivery.
  • Content Enablement: Format, upload, and publish content assets across SHRMโ€™s digital channels in collaboration with DX, channel owners, and Marketing teams, aligning deliverables with audience targeting, campaign objectives, and KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a day-to-day coordination point across Content, Creative, Brand, Marketing, DX, and channel teams. Route materials for review, gather feedback and approvals, communicate status updates, and ensure stakeholders understand upcoming milestones and responsibilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Review content deliverables for accuracy, formatting, and brand consistency prior to publication.
  • Webinar Operations: Support production and amplification of the Wednesday Webinar Series, coordinating topic-aligned follow-up communications and ensuring integration with ongoing content campaigns.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Compile post-campaign metrics, content performance data, and production insights to inform continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Documentation & Project Tracking: Maintain accurate project documentation and systems, including timelines, owners, dependencies, status updates, decisions, next steps. Capture best practices and contribute to workflow improvements while proactively identifying potential delays, missing inputs, or blockers and escalating them to Lead and Senior Producers as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in project coordination or management for marketing, content production, or digital media.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities with strong attention to detail and organizational follow-through.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Slack, or similar platforms; comfort with AI-assisted workflows is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of digital content formats including social, video, web, and email.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a collaborative team player a collaborative team player who shares information clearly and in a timely manner.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where priorities shift and timelines compress โ€” remains focused and effective without sacrificing quality.
  • Pivots quickly when project scope or direction changes, maintaining a positive, solutions-first attitude.
  • Receives and integrates feedback professionally, treating input from leads and stakeholders as a tool for growth.
  • Eager to learn the craft of production management and grow within a creative team.
Physical Requirements

This position operates in a typical office environment and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements may include:

Hybrid Position (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote):

  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote. Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00AM โ€“ 9:00AM and concluding between 5:00PM โ€“ 6:00PM.

Travel: 0 โ€“ 10%

The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $83,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
