Job description

Summary

The Senior Specialist, Lifecycle Marketing oversees activation and campaign trafficking, scheduling, and stakeholder communication across SHRM’s omnichannel marketing ecosystem. This role is pivotal in translating strategy into execution—partnering across teams to develop assets and copy that power activations, campaigns, and journeys across all channels. The Senior Specialist ensures all marketing initiatives are launched on time, on brand, and optimized for impact across owned, and earned platforms. 

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end campaign trafficking, scheduling, and deployment across digital, email and social channels. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, Creative, and Martech teams to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and priorities. 
  • Collaborate with creative and copy teams to ensure assets and messaging are tailored for each channel and audience segment. 
  • Partner with Journey and Martech leads to ensure campaign assets align with targeting, personalization, and automation strategies in AJO, Marketo, and other platforms. 
  • Support integrated campaign launches by coordinating final QA, approvals, and deployment readiness across teams. 
  • Track and communicate campaign performance insights and learnings to stakeholders; contribute to post-launch reporting. 
  • Maintain and document trafficking processes, ensuring consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement in activation workflows. 
  • Stay current on digital and channel marketing trends, applying best practices to optimize performance and efficiency. 
Education & Experience RequirementsEducation·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree.Experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in channel marketing, campaign management, or marketing operations. 
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Marketo, and project management tools preferred.
Certifications – NAKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel campaign management, including email, paid, web, and social. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Clear and proactive communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. 
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools. Marketo a plus. 
  • Keen attention to detail and process discipline. 
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve overall work quality.
 Physical Requirements

This position operates in a typical office environment (which includes a home office setting) and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements may include:

Work EnvironmentHybrid Schedule (3 Days In-Office/2 Days Remote)

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote.  Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00–9:00 a.m. and concluding between 5:00–6:00 p.m. local time.

Travel: Occasional 0 – 10%

The hiring range for this position is $83,000 to $100,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
