What you'll be responsible for each day:

The Intake Operator I position, under the direction of a Trainer learns to receive milk from milk haulers and truckers, ensuring quality of milk through samples, testing and proper sanitation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of a Trainer:

  • Run antibiotic tests.

  • Wash tanks and silos.

  • Wash and unload milk trucks.

  • Wash product lines.

  • Process milk slips.

  • Perform RO readings.

  • Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule.

  • Load whey/cream trucks.

  • Mix powder for production

  • Wash tanks and silos.

  • Wash RO/POL.

  • Wash Whey Separator.

  • Mix NFDM.

  • Mix WPC.

  • CIP lines.

  • Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule.

  • Assist in training new employees as directed by Supervisor.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Attend meetings as directed.

  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Safety Protocol

    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.

    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
