We are a busy and growing client-focused family law firm committed to supporting individuals through some of the most important and challenging times in their lives. Our team combines legal expertise with genuine compassion, and we’re looking for an Intake/Legal Assistant who shares our commitment to excellence in client service.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the first point of contact for all current and potential clients, attorneys and court staff via phone and in person appointments
• Conduct intake calls to assess client needs and determine alignment with firm services
• Schedule consultations and coordinate with attorneys for timely follow-ups
• Provide consistent, empathetic communication throughout the client journey
• Monitor and respond to ongoing client inquiries with professionalism and discretion

• Strong organizational, writing, proofreading, and time-management skills

• Knowledge of court processes and procedures, eFiling systems and various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval

• Advanced proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe PDF

Qualifications
● 1+ years in a client-facing role in a law firm or other professional setting; legal services experience is preferred but not required
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and compassionate demeanor
