Our inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services offer supportive and compassionate care for adolescents and adults with specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

Shift: Intake Specialist FT
Position Summary:
The Care Center Specialist is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls. Assist the Care Center Intake Counselors, Coordinators and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Work with Admission Clerk to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Receive referral calls, obtain mininal demographic information, and refer the call to the appropriate source or schedule an assessment.
  • Process all requests for information and external referrals.
  • Completes pre-certifications as needed.
  • Assist in arranging for admission of patients, including alerting the business office staff to begin the verification of benefits, initiating calls to physicians and other related tasks as directed by the Case Manager.
