About the role
The Manager, Corporate Accounting, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Regent Surgical corporate accounting function, including the monthly close, general ledger, account reconciliations, accounts payable and equity method activity. This position supervises and develops an accounting team, reviews their work for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP, and partners with the Director of Corporate Accounting to strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and deliver timely, accurate financial information. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
What you'll do
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for overall supervision of the corporate accounting team and managing all aspects of the corporate accounting function including the general ledger, revenue recognition, fixed assets, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and intercompany transactions.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses prepared by accountants, providing feedback, coaching, and development.
• Oversee the calculation of Regent management, billing, and other fees and the monthly customer invoicing process.
• Prepare and review income statement and balance sheet variance analysis and supporting schedules for monthly financial review.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies; help develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned which could include assisting with financial reporting, department initiatives or projects, and assisting the Director with consolidation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 1-3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Public accounting and/or multi-entity or healthcare industry experience a plus.
