Job description

About the Opportunity:

Our client is a fast-growing fintech company modernizing the life insurance and wealth planning space through innovative technology. Their platform helps advisors and policyholders unlock greater value from whole life insurance policies through a more efficient, technology-driven experience.

Backed by experienced leaders across fintech, SaaS, and insurance, this is an opportunity to join a company at an exciting stage of growth where you can make a meaningful impact on both the business and the customer experience.

The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an Account Executive to help drive growth and build relationships with financial advisors, advisory teams, and firms across the country.

This is a highly consultative sales role that will require a strong mix of outbound business development, relationship management, and strategic selling. The right person is energized by building relationships, opening doors, navigating complex organizations, and helping advisors understand the value of the platform.

This role will own the full sales cycle from outreach through onboarding and long-term account expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and onboarding
  • Build relationships with financial advisors, advisory teams, and key stakeholders
  • Drive new business acquisition through outbound outreach and relationship-building efforts
  • Conduct demos, presentations, and educational sessions with prospective partners
  • Expand and deepen relationships within existing accounts
  • Multi-thread relationships within organizations to increase platform adoption
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, product, and advisor success teams
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking within the CRM
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and market opportunities

Qualifications:

  •  2–5+ years of experience in SaaS, fintech, insurtech, or consultative B2B sales
  •  Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and close deals in a fast-paced environment
  •  Strong outbound prospecting skills, including comfort with consistent activity levels (200+ dials per month)
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
  •  Experience with common sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, BANT, SPICED)
  •  Proficiency with modern SaaS sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Dialpad, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
  •  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  •  Data-driven mindset with disciplined CRM and pipeline management habits
  •  Coachable, resourceful, competitive, and highly self-motivated
  •  Collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  •  Strong desire to win; scrappy, persistent, and solutions-oriented
  •  Experience within financial services, insurance, or advisor-facing businesses is a strong plus
  •  Willingness to travel (~25–30%) for client meetings, presentations, and events

Compensation & Benefits:

  •  $85,000 base salary
  •  Expected first-year earnings target of $150,000–$200,000+ based on performance
  •  Equity opportunity
  •  Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits
  •  401(k)
  •  Generous PTO and holiday schedule
  •  Opportunity to play a key role in shaping growth and culture within a scaling organization
