RTX Corporate Communications is looking for a talented Manager, Enterprise HR Communications. This position requires employee communications expertise and experience with change communications. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in strategic planning, writing, tactical execution and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.  

The Manager, Enterprise HR Communications develops, executes and measures strategic communications plans that support enterprise and Raytheon HR priorities. As a key member of the HR Communications team, this role delivers clear, aligned and impactful communications that advance business and enterprise goals. 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead planning, coordination, execution and measurement of enterprise HR communications aligned to critical HR initiatives. 
  • Partner across the HR Communications team to support an integrated approach for enterprise-level HR initiatives and campaigns.
  • Support HR communications for Raytheon, including developing, executing and measuring integrated plans aligned to functional, business and enterprise priorities. 
  • Work closely with the Raytheon Employee Communications team to ensure HR communications and priorities are reflected in the enterprise communications strategy, editorial and metrics processes. 
  • Create and manage content for internal communications channels such as intranet articles, newsletters, emails and presentations.
  • Measure communication effectiveness, problem solve and adjust plans based on feedback and analytics.
  • Stay informed on enterprise HR programs and initiatives to anticipate communication needs and proactively advise stakeholders
  • Travel required: 10-25%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing and executing employee communication strategies with measurable impact on business goals. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders. 
  • Proven experience in employee communications, preferably in a matrixed, corporate environment.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail and quality.
  • Strategic thinker able to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging.; project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly seek continuous improvement through metrics, feedback collection and evaluation/analytics.

  • This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
