Dental Insurance & Administrative Coordinator
 
Coastal Empire Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Dental Insurance & Administrative Coordinator to join our growing specialty practice.
 
Candidates must be available to work in the office. This is a full-time, in-office position and does not offer remote work.
 
We are looking for someone who is customer-service oriented, professional, friendly, and confident on the telephone. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty practice where accuracy and efficiency are essential.
 
Responsibilities Include:
·         Verify insurance benefits for all new patient appointments
·         Update insurance annual maximums and deductibles for existing patients
·         Submit insurance claims for hygiene appointments daily and surgical procedures once records are complete
·         Post insurance payments to patient accounts
·         Follow up on outstanding insurance claims
·         Answer incoming calls with a professional and pleasant telephone manner
·         Schedule new patient appointments and coordinate patient scheduling
·         Assist with appointment confirmations and rescheduling
·         Balance daily financial reports and day sheets
·         Provide excellent customer service and a positive patient experience
·         Maintain accurate and complete patient and insurance information

Qualifications & Skills:
·         Minimum 2 years of dental front office or dental insurance experience
·         Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and payment posting
·         Excellent telephone and customer service skills
