At Accuworx we are seeking a highly motivated sales engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and working closely with our engineering team to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales engineering, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of our industry and products. 

  • Competences  

  • Cost calculation experience  

  • Working knowledge of CAD viewing software  

  • Ability to read drawings (blueprints and evaluate data using PC based viewing software) 

  •  Good MS Office knowledge; knowledge of Project Management & Product Engineering.  

  •  Proficient with Windows Software (PowerPoint, Excel, Project Timelines, etc.).  

  • Main Roles and Responsibilities  

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers 

  • Meeting and exceeding sales expectations. 

  • Maintaining and growing existing business 

  • Visiting current and potential customers to generate business 

  • Provide timely and professional follow-up to inquiries, quotes, and service requests to ensure high customer satisfaction. 

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to identify new sales leads 

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing sales territory independently. 

  • Liaison between external customers and internal departments (Engineering, Production, Product Managers, Purchasing) to ensure customers' needs are met. 

  • Prepares cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.  

  • Collects information from other functions, vendors, subcontractors to complete sales quotations as needed.  

  • Coordinates, and assumes responsibility for the timely generation and documentation of estimates and quotes utilized in the preparation of proposals.   

  • Will attend pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs to develop deeper customer and project understanding.  

  • Maintains complete files for all equipment used to generate quotes and assists in turnover process when quotes become an order.  

  • Qualifications: Education and Experience  

  • 5 + years of successful outside sales experience in industrial experience in one of the following areas that focuses on high volume assembly: cost estimating, operations, or manufacturing engineering.
