Our client is an established building materials manufacturer (flooring) with a strong brand, market momentum, and a clear plan for the future. They are focused on investing in their people, strengthening their leadership team, and putting the right talent in the right roles to support continued expansion across Canada and into the US. Western Canada is currently an established region, yet has significant untapped opportunity for further grow under the direction of a focused Regional Sales Manager.
They are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada (Provinces; BC, AB, SK, MB). Reporting to senior management, the role will suit an individual coming from the specialty flooring industry (dealer channel) who pairs strategic thinking with strong people leadership. You will take a collaborative approach to growing market share, strengthening customer partnerships, and developing a high performing sales team.
The position supports an established team of Territory Managers across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Some management of remote Reps is required to be considered.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales performance across Western Canada
• Coach, mentor, and develop the regional sales team, adding additional Reps in high potential markets and segments as appropriate
• Support Territory Managers through field visits, customer meetings, pipeline development planning, and ongoing guidance
• Work with internal teams to support shared commercial goals
• Build and strengthen customer relationships
• Set and achieve sales targets to drive revenue growth
• Improve sales processes including pricing, quoting, and inventory coordination
• Develop market specific sales, product, and marketing plans
• Review data to identify trends and customer opportunities
• Attend industry and promotional events to support customer engagement
• Deliver training on sales techniques and product knowledge to the team
• Build business cases for additional hires, regional expansion, and other commercial initiatives
Required Experience

• This role requires a manager with at least 2 - 3 years of experience leading an outside sales team - flooring specifically.
• Strong problem solving, commercial acumen, and coaching skills
• Ability to set clear goals and hold the team accountable
• Flexible to travel as required - circa. 25% to support the regional team, and attend bi-annual head office sales meetings.
• Valid drivers license and access to a dependable vehicle
The compensation package will include a competitive base salary ($130,000 - $140,000), quarterly and annual bonuses, car allowance, gas, expenses, RRSP matching, health & dental benefits.
