How you'll make an impact
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering proactive service and innovative insurance solutions.
  • Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, invoices, and coverage questions while serving as a trusted adviser.
  • Manage policy administration, including new business setup, renewals, online rating, invoicing, accounts receivable monitoring, audits, contract reviews, and policy reviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the agency management system.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, carriers, brokers, agency leadership, and internal team members.
  • Support client stewardship meetings and participate in onsite client visits and risk management walkthroughs.
  • Ensure responsive, professional service throughout the client lifecycle while identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience.

About You

Required: 

  • Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment).
  • 4+ years of experience working in a commercial insurance agency environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong project management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed for client meetings, presentations, and conferences (less than 5%).

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Public Entities, Self-Insurance Pools, or Risk Management Trusts.
  • Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, AAI, ARM, RPLU, or a commitment to pursuing industry certifications.
