What We're Looking For

As a Supervisor, Complex Risk Support Services in the Commercial Insurance Division, you will provide exceptional operational leadership for the Support Team. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail to join our team in our Bentall office, located centrally in Downtown Vancouver near Burrard skytrain station with travel to our Still Creek, Burnaby office.

Requirements

  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • 2-3 years Commercial Insurance experience
  • Leadership experience is an asset

A Day in the Life

  • Provide oversight of operational efficiency and process improvement
  • Train and support onboarding for new hires
  • Collaborate and work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Claim and Underwriting teams for alignment of business priorities.
  • Identify operational and service requirements for the Complex Risk team that may be unique to the book of business and client base.
  • Foster a positive, engaging work environment to attract and retain talent.
  • Participate in weekly Complex Risk team meetings.
  • Maintain oversight of activities management and account receivables.
  • Assess capacity requirements for the team through ongoing book of business reviews.

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
