Job description

DCS is searching for a performancedriven Risk Manager to support US Army programs. A focus on either Analytical, Financial, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. We're seeking individuals who are excited to take on meaningful challenges, contribute to innovative solutions, and help shape the future of a fastevolving mission space. This position will be supporting multiple locations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

MA/MS/MBA from an accredited college or university in Operations management, Risk Management, program management, Engineering or related degree with 7 to 10 years of experience as a Risk Manager within the DOD environment.

7 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement, or an additional 5 years of experience and a BA/BS may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Devise systems and processes to monitor validity of risk modeling outputs.

Evaluate the risks and benefits involved in implementing strategies. Document, and ensure communication of, key risks.

Provide statistical risk modeling advice to other departments.

Maintain input or data quality of risk management systems. Develop contingency plans to deal with emergencies.

Analyze new legislation to determine impact on risk exposure.

Recommend ways to control or reduce risk.

Produce reports or presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, or recommend changes. Plan, and contribute to development of, risk management systems.

Conduct statistical analyses to quantify risk using statistical analysis software or econometric models.

Certified Logistics Professional certification.

Desired Skills:

Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
