    Now Hiring: Risk Insurance Manager

    CJ Logistics America is seeking a Risk Insurance Manager to lead risk identification, claims resolution, and insurance compliance across our 3PL operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage end-to-end commercial, property, cargo, and warehouse claims while safeguarding the company through robust risk mitigation strategies. If you have deep technical expertise in logistics insurance, policy construction, and claims management, we want you on our team.

    • Salary: Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a salary range of $124,000 to $135,000 per year, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

    • Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to support deadlines or cross-functional collaboration; typically your schedule will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
    What You'll Do:

    You will oversee corporate insurance programs, serve as the primary liaison with brokers and adjusters, and direct claim resolutions.

    • Insurance Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain corporate insurance programs, including negotiating premiums, deductibles/retentions, and terms.

    • Broker & Adjuster Relations: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for brokers, underwriters, and claim adjusters, providing authority and directing claim funding.

    • Claims Resolution: Oversee multiple lines of claims including General Liability, Auto/Trucking, Cargo, Warehouse Legal Liability, Property, Cyber, EPLI, Professional Liability, and Workers' Compensation.

    • Bond & COI Programs:Manage and maintain company bond requests and certificate of insurance (COI) programs.

    • Risk Assessment: Lead the annual Corporate Risk Assessment process to compile risk identification, scoring, and mitigation strategies.

    • Financial & Data Analysis: Prepare insurance submissions, manage allocation of insurance charges across cost centers, and handle required reporting.

    • Departmental Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and Human Resources to enforce internal controls.

    What You Bring to the Table:
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.

    • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in insurance and risk management, preferably proficient handling worker's compensation.

    • Industry Expertise: Knowledge of logistics insurance, multiple coverage lines, policy language interpretation, and rating plans.

    • Skills: Excellent investigative, problem-solving, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.

    • Technical Aptitude: Comfort using databases, risk software, and standard office technology.

    • Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% to facilities as needed.

    • Preferred Qualifications: Professional risk management designations (CPCU, ARM, CRM) and experience in an industrial/warehouse environment are highly preferred.
