Job Purpose
Voya Financial is seeking a Risk Management Analytics & Reporting professional for the Voya Financial Risk Management Organization. This AVP (Assistance Vice President) role will primarily focus on assisting risk management teams and colleagues across the enterprise with identifying themes and trends across various data sets and offer predictive insights. Critical to this role will be the ability to lead and participate in analyzing, researching, advancing and providing practical advice on risk management issues at multiple levels within the organization's corporate and business segments. The position will have other day-to-day responsibilities. This position is in-office approximately 3 days in our Atlanta GA office, with the number of days being flexed around business partner needs.
Position Description:
Lead risk projects including research/development and implementation of actionable risk analytics data, technology solutions, and dashboards.
  • Improve internal risk systems and data science implementation and offer predictive insights on various data sets.
  • Develop and cultivate a data science analysis framework to support multiple business segments, corporate interests, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and activity and recommend actions Voya should take to optimize risk and business results.
  • Independently complete assigned projects and analyses.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in actuarial risk management or financial risk analysis within relevant/ related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with challenging situations, navigating disagreement, and negotiation at different levels in risk management.
  • Industry experience and knowledge of relevant financial services platforms (e.g., employee benefits administration, retirement recordkeeping, wealth management, etc.)
  • Programming and database skills, including proficiency in Excel VBA programming, SQL, machine learning languages (e.g., R, Python), etc.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence Reporting/ Visualization tools (eg. Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services, MS Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer orientation.
  • Strong analytical/quantitative/technical skill with the ability to apply creative thinking.
  • Ability to travel domestically
  • Ability to work overtime, as necessary, to meet aggressive deadlines and acquire additional skills

This position has in-office requirements. Candidates must live within reasonable commuting range of our Atlanta GA office.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
$152,940 - $191,180 USD
