Job Description
Strategy Risk Management Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated, commercial-minded and analytically driven Manager to join the Product & Payment Services Risk (PPSR) Strategy & Operations team.
This individual will support Risk Business Partners (RBPs) across Product & Strategy, Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS), and Value-Added Services (VAS).
The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing internal reporting, improving processes, and delivering scalable solutions that support effective and efficient risk management, including governance and reporting across business units and integration activities arising from M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Lifecycle Enablement
  • Partner with RBPs and product teams to embed risk considerations across the full product lifecycle (strategy, design, launch, and post-launch monitoring)
  • Support deployment of core risk programs including Product Risk Reviews (PRR), Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs), and ongoing risk assessments
  • Help ensure risk insights are practical, timely, and actionable for business stakeholders

Internal Reporting, Governance & Insights
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reporting, dashboards, and materials (e.g., QBR's and leadership updates)
  • Support the design and execution of governance reporting cycles, ensuring alignment with business unit and portfolio-level reporting cadences

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance risk processes, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Lead or support initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality across PPSR programs
  • Drive adoption of best practices, including automation, innovation and AI in risk management processes

Strategy, Execution & Integration Support
  • Support delivery of the PPSR Strategy & Operations roadmap and key strategic initiatives
  • Provide structured problem-solving and program management support across priority initiatives
  • Support Risk M&A activities as needed, including integration planning, risk framework alignment, and incorporation of acquired entities into existing risk governance and reporting structures

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with Global and Regional Stakeholders including across Global Risk.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, training, and enablement to strengthen risk awareness and capability

This is a hybrid position located in our Atlanta, GA office location. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 5-8+ years of experience in risk management, strategy & operations, consulting, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in payments, financial services, or risk management environments
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and/or risk frameworks (e.g., PRR, RCSA)
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational initiatives
  • Experience building executive-ready reporting and delivering data-driven insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

U.S. Applicants Only
The estimated salary range for this position is $109,800.00 to $ 175,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
